Alvaro V. Moncada is an AI Strategy and Digital Transformation executive with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and transforming businesses across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. His career combines senior operating leadership, entrepreneurship, consulting, commercial strategy, and the practical application of emerging technologies to create new sources of growth.

 

He has held executive leadership positions at companies including Terra Networks, NBC-Telemundo, and Univision, and more recently has led AI-driven businesses and transformation initiatives across technology, media, healthcare, and enterprise software. He currently serves as CEO, U.S. & Latin America at Plannam, where he leads regional expansion, commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, and the growth of an AI-enabled workforce management platform. His recent experience also includes serving as Chief Growth Officer at MetaQare Intellihealth and CEO of Neuraptic AI, where he helped develop and commercialize AI-powered products and business models.

 

Through Durruti Digital, the transformation consultancy he founded in 2013, Alvaro has advised companies on digital and AI strategy, go-to-market transformation, international expansion, new revenue models, and organizational change. His work has contributed to more than $12 million in incremental revenue, 35%+ growth across transformation initiatives, significant international expansion, and substantial digital audience growth.

 

Today, his work increasingly focuses on enterprise AI transformation: helping organizations move from isolated AI experimentation to scalable operating models built around AI strategy, governance, agentic systems, measurable business value, and responsible adoption. He has developed AI transformation and governance frameworks for major media and enterprise organizations and completed MIT’s Executive Program in Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation.
